Easy and tasty traditional Macarons recipe
This is a traditional French pastry made of egg white, ground almonds, icing sugar and sugar. Macarons are made in a wide variety of flavours, depending on the confectioner and the time of year.
- 110 g almond flour
- 220 g icing sugar
- 110 g cold egg whites
- 30 g sugar
- 10 drops pink food colouring
In a bowl, add the almond flour, and the icing sugar. Then, stir well.
In a separate bowl add the egg whites and sugar, then whisk.
Add the colouring. Then, pour the flour over this mixture.
Place the mixture in a piping bag. Put some baking paper on a baking tray and assemble the macarons.
Leave to dry for 20 minutes and bake in a preheated oven at 150 degrees for 15 minutes. Remove and leave to dry for another 20 minutes.
Fill with Nutella or your favourite topping. Enjoy!
