  • 2 cloves garlic Added to
  • 1 teaspoon Chilli Powder Added to
  • 1 teaspoon cumin Added to
  • 1 tablespoon oregano Added to
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon Added to
  • 1 Tin Chopped Tomatoes Added to
  • 2 tablespoon tomato puree Added to
  • 1 Tin Kidney Beans Added to
  • 1 cube Beef Stock Added to
  • Olive Oil (to fry) Added to
  • Salt Pepper Added to

1. Step

Peel and finely chop the Onion and Garlic then fry with a little Oil for 5 minutes in a large casserole dish.

2. Step

Now add the Chilli Powder, Cumin, Cinnamon and Minced Beef - frying until the Minced Beef has browned.

3. Step

Then stir in the Chopped Tomatoes, Tomato Puree, Oregano, Stock Cube and some seasoning.

4. Step

Top the chilli up with some boiling water and leave to simmer with the lid on for 20 minutes.

5. Step

After 20 minutes, drain and wash the Kidney Beans then stir into the chilli. Leave to simmer for a further 10 minutes with the lid off.

6. Step

After 10 minutes, remove from the heat, place the lid on and leave to rest for 15 minutes. Then the chilli con carne is ready to serve.
