Homemade Oven-Baked Cinnamon Sugar Doughnuts

Ingredients
- 11⁄2 cups of all-purpose flour
- 1⁄2 Cup of granulated sugar
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of salt
- 1⁄4 teaspoon of ground nutmeg
- 1⁄2 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1⁄2 Cup of milk
- 2 eggs
- 3 tbls of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
- 1⁄4 Cup of granulated sugar for coating
- 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon for coating

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and lightly grease a doughnut pan.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the flour, 1/2 cup sugar, baking powder, salt, nutmeg, and 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon.
In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and pour in the wet mixture. Stir until well combined.
Fill each doughnut well to the top with the mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the doughnut comes out clean.
While the doughnuts are baking, mix the remaining 1/4 cup sugar and 1 tablespoon of cinnamon in a shallow dish.
As soon as the doughnuts are done, remove from the oven and immediately roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture to coat.
Allow to cool slightly before serving.
