Apple and Poppy Seed Mix
This simple, yet very delicious and tasty apple and poppy seed mix recipe falls among the traditional Hungarian desserts, making it an ideal choice for a light, but filling dessert. The combination of poppy seed and apple creates one of the most memorable flavors of Hungarian cuisine, sure to please every member of the family.

- 200 g flour
- 150 g sugar
- 100 g Poppy
- 1 pc pinch of salt
Filling
- 500 g apple
- 100 g sugar
- 1 pc vanilla pod

1. Step
Step 1: Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Wash the apple, peel it and grate it.
2. Step
Step 2: Mix the ingredients of the dough in a bowl, then add the previously grated apple and the vanilla extracted from the vanilla pod.
3. Step
Step 3: Mix the dough until it becomes homogeneous, then pour it into a greased 20x20 cm baking dish. Bake the pastry at 180 degrees for 45 minutes, or until the top becomes golden brown.
4. Step
Step 4: Finally, let the pastry cool down, then slice it and serve. Enjoy your meal!
