Easy homemade pumpkin rice krispie treats recipie

- 25 gms unsalted butter
- 135 gms White mini marshmallows
- 80 gms rice krispies
- 1 teaspoon Orange gel food colour
- 10 g tootsie rolls
- 20 g green icing
Melt butter and marshmallows in a heatproof bowl over a pan of boiling water. Keep stirring the mix to make it silky smooth.
Add orange gel food colour to the mixture.
Next, turn off the heat and pour the rice krispies into the butter marshmallow mixture and fold it till it is incorporated fully.
Let the mixture cool a bit.
Then take small portions of the sticky rice krispies and shape them into little pumpkins as shown in the image above. You can use water to avoid the mixture sticking to your palm.
Place the small rice krispie pumpkins on a tray lined with parchment paper.
Now, make a tiny indent into the rice krispie pumpkin top and place the chocolate tootsie roll over it to resemble the pumpkin stem.
Use the green icing pen to draw leaves around the tootsie roll stem.
Let the pumpkin rice krispies rest for 10 minutes and then serve them fresh or store them for treating later!
