Ginger Liqueur
Ginger liqueur is ideal for the cold season. It has an oriental taste and the distinct strength of the ginger itself, which is known for its healing effects.

 - 200 g ginger
- 1 l vodka
- 400 g sugar

1. Step 
  Slice the ginger into thin slices.
2. Step 
  Put the ginger into a large glass or bottle.
3. Step 
  Add sugar and pour the vodka.
4. Step 
  Tightly close the cup or bottle and shake it so that the sugar dissolves.
5. Step 
  Leave it in a dark, cool place for at least 2 weeks so that the flavors can combine.
6. Step 
  Then strain it through a fine sieve or cheesecloth and pour it back into the original bottle.
7. Step 
  The ginger liqueur is ready to be served. It tastes great solo and chilled, or as part of cocktails.
