- 1 Cup Castor sugar
- 2 teaspoon grated lemon rind

Have some butter in a bowl, add ¼ sifted icing sugar, and beat it nicely for half a minute.

Pour plain flour in it and mix it all well.

Now, place this mixture in a baking pan and spread it all over.

Put the pan in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for 15 minutes and wait till light golden brown color appears.

It's time to add three eggs to a bowl and whisk it well with castor sugar, plain flour, grated lemon rind, and lemon juice. The topping mixture is ready.

Now, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool for a few seconds.

Pour the mixture on the baked dough and put it back in preheated oven for 20 minutes.

Now, remove the pan from the oven and let it cool for half an hour.
