Homemade English flapjack bars recipe
English flackjap is the best energy bar ever! With this easy recipe, learn how to make homemade flapjack bars.
- 250 g oat flakes
- 75 g Apricot Kernels
- 100 g butter
- 75 g brown sugar
In a saucepan or frying pan, add the honey, butter and brown sugar and heat. Stir.
Chop the dried apricots into cubes of about 1 cm and place them in a bowl with the oat flakes.
Pour over the rolled oats and apricots.
Mix well until well combined and place in a baking tin lined with baking paper.
Bake in a preheated oven for 10 minutes at 180 °C.
Leave to cool and set for a few minutes.
Cut into bars and keep tightly covered in an airtight container.
