The best Chicken japanese curry recipe
Curry (カレー) is a very popular dish in Japan and the rest of Asia. It was introduced into Japanese cuisine through British cuisine when India was under British rule. This chicken curry recipe is the best you ever tried. Prepare it at home!
- 400 g chicken breast
- 1⁄2 package Japanese curry
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 onion
- 2 potato
- 2 carrots
- 2 cloves garlic
- 4 slices ginger
- 1⁄2 teaspoon salt
- 1⁄2 teaspoon black pepper
- vegetable oil
Cut the chicken into large cubes.
Peel the potatoes and cut them into large chunks. Then, place them in salted water.
Cut the onion into julienne strips and the carrot into bite-sized pieces.
Chop the garlic and ginger.
In a saucepan, put a little vegetable oil and sauté the garlic and ginger.
Add the onion and carrot. Sauté.
Add the chicken, salt, and black pepper. Sauté until the chicken is more or less cooked.
Add the water until it covers the chicken. Then, add the bay leaves, and the potato. Cook for 20 minutes over medium heat.
