The best homemade meatballs recipe
Meatballs are popular all over the world. They are part of elaborate dishes and also work well as a simple meal. There are thousands of ways to prepare them. Here is a quick and delicious way to cook them.
- 4 kg minced meat
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic
- 1 Cup breadcrumbs
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- 1 can tomato paste
- 1 spring onion
- olive oil
- balsamic vinegar
Chop 1.5 cloves of garlic and parsley and combine with the ground meat. Add the egg and breadcrumbs, season with salt and pepper, and join well.
Form the meatballs.
Fry in hot oil the chopped green onion, onion, sweet pepper, and the rest of the garlic.
Add the chopped tomato and stir fry for a couple more minutes. Then, add the tomato paste.
Add salt, pepper, a dash of balsamic vinegar, and 1 glass of water. Season with a little bit of oregano.
Put the meatballs in the tomato sauce leaving space between them. Then, cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
Stir and cook on low heat for 10-15 minutes more.
