How to prepare the original homemade Ghee?
Ghee is a butter that is heated at high temperatures by removing the whey which is where the lactose and casein are mainly found, which are two proteins that cause intolerance, making it very easy to digest. Learn how to prepare the original homemade Ghee
- 1 kg butter
Put the cubed butter in a frying pan over medium-low heat and wait for the butter to melt.
Spoon off all the white foam that comes out, until it is gone. This is a patient process.
Once all the foam has been removed and the butter is transparent and golden in colour, turn off the heat and leave to cool.
Strain through a mesh bag and pour the ghee into a glass jar with a lid.
Once completely cool, cover and refrigerate and store in the pantry.
Enjoy with bread or cooking in ghee is also an excellent option.
