Authentic homemade taramasalata recipe
This creamy puree is an authentic side dish of Greek and Turkish cuisine. Learn how to make it with this easy recipe.
- 150 g white taramas
- 75 g dry onion
- 95 g onion
- 500 g sunflower oil
- 65 g olive oil
- 100 g water
- 20 ml lemon juice
Pour olive oil and sunflower oil into a jug.
In a blender or food processor, add the rest of the ingredients except the water and blend until smooth.
Blend and add the two types of oil to the mixture.
Correct the texture of the taramasalata with cold water, if necessary, and keep it in the refrigerator.
