Easy and tasty creme caramel recipe
Preparing an authentic caramel sauce at home has several advantages. It is much cheaper, you will prepare the amount you want and you will get a rich caramel sauce. Don't miss it!
- 300 g sugar
- 100 ml water
In a non-stick frying pan, put the sugar. Add the water and stir.
Cook until it comes to a boil. Stir.
Continue cooking until it comes to a boil again and starts to colour.
Cook until caramelised. When it starts to turn a more golden colour and white smoke comes out, stir with the pan. Continue cooking.
When it reaches a brown colour, gradually add water and shake the pan a little. Leave to cool completely.
Two hours later the sauce is ready to use, with a texture similar to honey. Store it in the fridge if you want. Enjoy.
